The tribute focuses on Rev. Jackson's decades-long advocacy for Palestinian rights and self-determination, and how he ended the political exclusion of Arab Americans. This was not covered in obituaries published by the NYT, NPR and the BBC. This appears to be an example of whitewashing a prominent American's legacy of Palestinian activism.

Gazan journalist Abeer Ayyoub does a deep dive into the Israeli linked shadowy firm run by an Israeli-Estonian, who arranged 3 flights to get several hundred Palestinians out of Gaza. Israel's Voluntary Emigration Bureau in the Defense Ministry referred the firm to the IDF to help coordinate the departures. Passengers were told to take only a small bag, cash and phone, and were not told the destination. Flight costs escalated dramatically suggesting the shadowy firm's intentions are less humanitarian and more of a blood merchant.
